In this special May program, author Colin Hines will present an illustrated lecture on his book Art Deco London. He will sell and sign books following the lecture.
Art Deco London contains 110 color photographs by Paul Riddle and Keith Cheetham. The photos include London theaters, hotels, shops, museums, homes, etc. The book even includes an Art Deco hospital and crematorium.
Britain is still losing too much Art Deco. This book has been written to provide enough of a taste of some of the London's best examples to delight the already converted and alert many more to what wonders London has.
Hines will be in town to attend our Art Deco Weekend. You can also purchase books at the Washington Plaza Hotel that weekend.
