Thursday, September 22, 2005 Charles Sumner School Members: $10; Non-Members: $12 Local historian and author Paul K. Williams has assembled a bevy of images of Art Deco buildings from his travels around the globe over the past 20 years, and has brought them together for a fun, fast moving interactive slide lecture where audience members try to guess where the Art Deco building is located. Williams will show nearly 200 images in a fast paced lecture that will include art deco examples from such exotic places as Katmandu, Chile, Fiji, New Zealand, Australia, China, Alaska, Spain, South Africa, and nearly twenty more countries; can you guess where the Art Deco is? Some will be familiar, some will surprise, and some are never seen before. There are a few images that even Williams has forgotten where they are located!
