Revised Program - Walking Tour of Historic Greenbelt - book lecture postponed

June 1, 2019
Due to unfortunate events, we have had to post-pone the Art Deco in Canada lecture but we will continue with an amazing and expanded tour of historic Greenbelt!

We regret to inform you that, due to unforeseen circumstances, author Tim Morawetz will be unable to give his presentation on Art Deco Canada Saturday. A copy of his book will be available for browsing but the program is being changed to expand the Greenbelt walking tour, and add a short program of Vitaphone shorts in place of the lecture.  After the walking tour we’ll return to the Community Center for some light refreshments. We hope you can join us!

We will meet in Room 114 of the Greenbelt Community Center at 1:00 p.m. Free parking is available on both sides of the building. Staff at the front desk can offer assistance with directions to the room, which is on the first floor.

A short 10 minute film will start things and then we will do the 90-minute walking tour. The tour will include a visit to the museum.

Tickets are $20 each.

This program is being sponsored in partnership with the Greenbelt Museum.
