Do You Know These Granite Panels?

Update 12/7/04: Seth Gaines has located the panels above the entrances to the North Office Building, part of the Pensylvania Capitol Complex in Harrisburg.

These panels are among 32 granite panels that compose an architectural frieze depicting the construction trades. The panels were carved by Fletcher Granite Company employees Pierre Moreau and Camille Boucher of Roverval, Quebec, in the late 1920s and early 1930s. Their descendants believe that the panels were shipped to Washington, DC or New York City, where they were installed around the perimeter of a building just below the roof line.

The Westford Historic Society is trying to identify the building where the were installed and determine their present location.

If you recognize these panels or know their current location, please respond to the inquiry on the ADSW forum.
